Computerised accountancy systems

Many people find that running a business means that they spend hours doing the bookkeeping during the evening or at weekends. They are either keeping their accounts manually, or using a package that does not suit them.

For a lot of businesses with many clients, SAGE is appropriate, and Iain Mcgregor and Co. can train you to keep proper records in SAGE. We also have experience and can offer advice and training in other accounting packages. However, for clients with a small number of customers, who are not registered for VAT, or who pay VAT on the receipts and payments basis, we have developed an alternative:

Training

We can provide training to use Excel spreadsheets in unusual ways, so that transactions can be entered very speedily, and bank reconciliations completed easily.

Corrections done quickly

Corrections on multiple transactions are quickly done.

VAT

Value Added Tax returns are completed at the click of the mouse.

Reports

All sorts of reports can be produced very easily, using spreadsheet standard methods.

More data

Unlike other accounting software, with the spreadsheet, you can add more data to transactions for job costing or specialised applications (e.g. car dealers, furniture manufacturers).

Use the internet

Some of our clients are now using the internet to download transactions from their bank account to the spreadsheets, cutting out some of the work normally required.

We offer training in these systems to our clients at our normal hourly rate, either at your office or ours.

If you would like to discuss how we can help you with our Excel spreadsheet system, SAGE or other computerised accounting systems please phone Bristol (0117) 968 6850
